A relaxing afternoon tea for two on board a Victorian carriage hauled by a vintage steam locomotive as it passes through the picturesque Causey valley on the world's oldest railway.

They will be served a selection of sandwiches, scones and home made cakes with plenty of tea or coffee throughout the journey. Their steam train journey will begin from and return to East Tanfield station DH9 9UY

They can use their Afternoon Tea ticket for all day travel but need to make sure they are at East Tanfield station for the time booked for their Afternoon Tea.

Afternoon Teas will run on Sundays and bank holidays from March to October 2024.

Booking will open in January.
